Changing the colour wheel

on your Starscape Lightsource

TURN OFF THE POWER AND PULL OUT THE PLUG

Your Starburst lightsource is supplied with a colour wheel and a twinkle wheel to allow you to vary the lighting effects of your fibre optic display. Normally, the unit will arrive with the colour wheel in place.

To change to the twinkle wheel or to remove the wheel and have a steady white light, first remove the cover from the lightsource by unscrewing the screws at the sides and top.The colour wheel has a collar which unscrews from the motor shaft.


Loosen the colour wheel by gently rotating in opposite directions while pulling off the shaft.


Unscrew the collar from the wheel.




Refit the collar to the twinkle wheel.


Fit the twinkle wheel onto the shaft and re assemble the light source taking care to ensure the earth strap is neatly positioned inside the cover.
