Light source with separate feed

Fibre optic light source with separate feed to the colour wheel motor.

Many customers simply want to create a starry night sky effect on a ceiling, and for this purpose our standard light source is ideal. However, if you want the ability to select a specific colour (from the half dozen on the colour wheel) you need to be able to turn the colour wheel motor on and off. This allows you to let the colour wheel rotate until you have the colour of your choice, at which point you stop the wheel from rotating.

Our light source with separate feed has two power leads. One supplies the halogen lamp and fan, the other the colour wheel motor. You might have the main unit controlled by a conventional wall switch and then have a remote control unit to turn the colour wheel motor on and off. This, for instance, would allow you to safely make colour changes while lying in the bath.

A qualified electrician will easily hard wire the light source to the lighting circuit giving you the option of remote and or wireless switching of the lamp and colour wheel.

DIY installation is just as simple using existing sockets or trailing extensions.

Because there is no electricity or heat in the fibre optic cables you can safely add lighting to a kitchen and or bathroom. The light source must be placed outside of the room, (the roof space is always a good option), and the fibre optic cables fed in.
