When calculating power usage to match a transformer always leave 20 % in reserve. For example 8 x 6 watt rigid strips will consume 48 watts. Add the reserve of 20% - 6 watts - for a total of 54 watts. In practice this means you would need a 60 watt transformer.

2 x 6 metre single colour ribbon flex tapes will use 90 watts: add the 20% reserve 18 watts total 108 watts. You will need a 200 watt power supply.
